Hanalei Bay Resort Front Desk Fees: $50 guest check in fee, plus a reservation fee of $6.75, plus $25/day and $20/day/car + GET Tax. Please note this is a separate transaction with the guest and the front desk, subject to change and beyond our control.

One bedroom with King bed plus a Trundle bed, full living area and kitchen, washer and dryer in unit, large lanai space, great views of ocean and mountains, fun resort amenities.

New flooring and paint 11/22! Located at the private end of the resort, this spacious one bedroom condo has views that display Kauai at its finest! The surrounding mountains, the aqua waters of the ocean and the famous Bali Hai will be enjoyed as a backdrop as you sit on the lanai enjoying outdoor living. The full kitchen will accommodate meal preparation for convenience but perhaps you might prefer an evening at the bar/lounge located on site. The bathroom has upgrades of tile in the stand up shower as well as bathroom and kitchen flooring. The condo is stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards and a beach cooler. The resort has many amenities to keep you busy some to include, 2 swimming pools, a hot tub, a fire pit arena, tennis courts and a fitness center. Furthermore the direct beach access is a bonus and is rare for Princeville complexes. Kauai is home to miles of amazing pristine beaches and a whole array of fun activities such as kayaking, golfing, zip lining, surfing, hiking and much more. You will have a vacation of a lifetime.   Had a great time at this resort. The condo was perfect. It was very spacious, had everything we needed. The resort was great and would provide rides in the carts anytime we asked which was very convenient. We loved the check in check out process, the bar was fabulous, the pools were beautiful. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working the entire week we were there. It was colder than normal and rainy so that would have been nice. There is nothing to complain about. The entire stay was so relaxing and it was nice to sit on the lanai and look at the ocean.

  The view from the lanai is incredible. Seeing many whales was icing on the cake. The unit is roomy but needs some updating. We loved being at the end of the resort and didn’t mind the walk.

  Everything was fabulous. The views breathtaking. Staff at resort great. Only thing was I didn't know we had to pay an additional resort fee and parking each day at the resort. Would of been nice to know what that expense was going to be at time of booking.

  Hanalei Bay Resort is a beautiful location with spectacular grounds, a wonderful, fun pool and a killer view. But, condo 7202 could use an update. We have stayed there several times over the years and notice that the kitchen counters could use to be replaced as the grout between the tiles is dirty. Also, the carpet could use a good cleaning if not a replacement. The view from the lanai is one of the best but the furniture on the lanai is not the most comfortable and takes up most of the space. While the rooms are very clean, it is time for a fresh coat of paint and a general sprucing up of the rooms. I would highly recommend Hanalei Bay Resort. But I other than the view at 7202 (which is spectacular), I cannot give it a high rating.

    This condo has had a renovation. New photos are coming! The carpet has been replaced . The unit has been fully repainted, including the ceiling in the bathroom. The unit just got all new flooring as well and the a/c units have been deep cleaned.

  My husband and I just returned from 6 glorious nights in unit 7202 at HBR and we couldn't be happier. First of all, this unit is very large and we plan to return in the future with our teenage daughter to make us of all of that space. The lanai is wonderful and the view is even more beautiful than the picture can convey. We remarked that we could have had a wonderful trip if we had just at and stared at the view for 6 straight days. Everything in the unit was in working order (after a quick visit from a repair man to fix one AC unit) and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location of this particular unit is great because it is quite a ways from the center of the resort, so very peaceful. The resort is lovely and well maintaned and the staff is very accommodating. We made a couple of trips down to the beach, which has nice views and moderately good snorkeling, and is especially nice because of the convenience factor (parking at a lot of local beaches is hard to come by). We will definitely return to this little bit of Heaven as soon as we can!

  We have been to the resort before and returned with my daughter so looking forward to the swim-in pooll bar. To our surprise this bar is apparently closed indefinitely, apparently due to some COVID rules. The condo has a huge living/dining room with a sleep sofa and a second pullout bed. The bedroom is also quite large. both rooms with huge windows overlooking the bay and mountains. Lovely. Downside of the layout is that the bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom. So, while the place is certainly able to fit 4 persons easily, they should be comfortable with that setting. The kitchen is large and well equipped. Housekeeping: We stayed one week and never saw housekeeping, not sure what their schedule was. While the place was generally very clean, we found some lingerie behind the dresser in the bedroom.

  We enjoyed staying at the Hanalei Bay Resort and felt so lucky that we had such a fantastic view. It was quite roomy and enough for 4 adults to stay comfortably. The beach is beautiful with view of Hanalei Bay. It is easily accessible by foot as well as Hanalei Bay Resort accommodates folks with mobility issues by giving guests rides in golf carts which are readily available to either the beach or pool and bar areas. We also took advantage of the outdoor grill and kitchen which was awesome.

  Beautiful awe inspiring view of Hanalei Bay, world class swimming pool, comfortable bed, and roosters crowing in the morning. Long walk from parking area to condo. Condo unit was dirty had a foul odor, and was in disrepair; floors were filthy, cushions were stained, kitchen cabinets had water damage and a horrendous odor below the sink, and kitchen ceiling had a large water leak or grease stain. A/C units took several days to settle out at a proper temperature. The on site restaurant and bars were closed most days during our stay (no notification provided). We have stayed in many shared homes and hotels - this one was a poor choice.
