  Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. There were a few glitches along the way that caused us some disappointment but was reported each time to the property management of Pili Mai at Poipu 1C. We were without WiFi access and did not know the garage code for Sat 7/8 and Sun7/9 as we could not find the information sheet. When we reached out to management on Mon 7/9, they told us it was mounted on the wall. We thought it was a handbook we should be looking for. We had WiFi for 2 days, then the tv and WiFi stopped working on Wed 7/12 and we also noted that a closet door hinge was loose and could not be opened/closed properly. We contacted management and was told a handyman would come the next day Thurs 7/13 between 10 am- 2 pm. But when we came back from golfing, the closet door hinges remained broken. We reported this to management again on Fri 7/14 and was told that the handyman probably was not able to fix it. Management sent a housekeeper over to address the WiFi and TV that was not functioning that Friday afternoon so the WiFi and TV became operational for that afternoon but TV could only work through access with our mobile phone. The next day Sat 7/15 was our departure day. It wasn't all negative. We enjoyed the condo and its amenities. We're avid golfers so it was great to wake up to a view of the golf course. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the issue of not having WiFi and garage access for 2 days, tv and WiFi that malfunctioned mid-week and a closet door that had broken hinges which did not get fixed while we were there. We would come back again to Pili Mai but hope that things will go smoother next time. Going forward, it would be nice to mention the location of the informational form so it's easy to locate and everything should be in working order before the next occupant checks in. Mahalo nui loa!

  I definitely recommend this place for anyone. It is amazing, there's everything that you need right there. The staff was right there to help me with the key box which I had trouble with. We got in immediately. Kitchen very well stocked with a lot more then I expected. The 3 bathrooms were clean & everything you need. Bedrooms are beautiful & comfortable. Living room big enough for family gatherings. My family enjoyed everything we had. This is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy all the amenities they have. Pool is huge and within minutes. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. It's quiet and I loved everything about this place and fabulous area. KEOKI'S restaurant is right up the street with awesome food. Beaches are right down the road. Amazing place to be and I definitely will be back. I rate this a definitely a 5

  Very clean, had everything we needed, including toilet paper, paper towels, and ziplock bags! Blender was awesome for smoothies! Great beds and used all the beach stuff in the garage...very helpful! Two things...I would upgrade your umbrellas to a better quality one...these were too flimsy to be used in the breezes there. Also when it comes time to change out your living room furniture, I would get a sectional so more people could be comfortable. While your side chairs look nice in pics, they aren’t comfy. Our A/C went out the last two days and they were quick to get someone out to fix. Great location with shops and beaches very close by. Excellent stay! Thanks!

  Family of 4, first time to Kauai. The Condo was beautiful, set up was great, we will definitely stay there again. The only thing I would change is to provide a little more direction to the guest during check in and check out. The “info sheet” sheet was a little hidden, we didn’t stumble across it until day 3, which provides the garage code and other important information. There was also zero direction on a checklist of things that need to be done prior to checkout.

  WOW!! By far the best vacation rental we've stayed at! Immaculate and exquisitely decorated with high end furnishings. Beds are super comfy and the kitchen was well-stocked with every appliance and gadget you could possibly need. Generous open floorplan allowed everyone to have privacy given the layout of bedrooms & baths. Having a garage was a nice addition and it came loaded with beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach toys, boogie boards and even some snorkel gear! Great location as Poipu Beach, one of the best beaches on the island, is just a short walk or drive away! Restaurants (yes, you've gotta try a Puka Dog ;-), shopping, golfing and even a local grocery store are all within 5 minutes away. Check-in and communication with property manager was seamless. We loved our stay and without a doubt will stay at Pili Mai 1C again!

If our guests have any issues in between services, we are happy to contact our pest control service to come in and address the issue. We also advise our guests that with our tropical weather, screens remain closed, food is put away, and garbage is taken out often for the comfort of the current and future guests.

  Upon arrival there were several issues, no hot water, freezer didn’t work and many bugs in unit. The rental company was very responsive and took care of issues fairly quick. However if unit was inspected before our arrival I feel many of the issues would have been noticed. The next day they delivered a new freezer, a few days later the exterminator came, unfortunately the hot water was never really hot just like warm. The unit was clean and well equipped. Constructive feedback would be to swap full size bed room with twin room so a couple could have a private bath and children in twin beds use common hallway bath.

    The hot water heater in this condo was checked and no issue was found; the water needs to run before the hot water is delivered. A chest freezer was delivered to the guest for their use until the freezer was repaired. The condo receives quality, professional pest control services as recommended.   We enjoyed our stay at Pili Mai! This complex is in a great location-- walkable to some shops/dining with more close by, loved the layout of the condo which gave each room privacy and their own bathroom, and also thoroughly enjoyed the country view with cows and chickens every morning. Appreciated all the beach gear available to borrow in the garage as well.
  
  We had a few minor suggestions which would improve the experience: 1) I wish there had been information given about where and how to locate the gym on site 2) would have been nice to have part of the pantry stocked with essentials like spices, coffee etc. It doesn't really make sense for each guest to have to purchase that 3) the floors needed steam mopped. They were clean of sand/crumbs etc but my feet got so dirty just walking barefoot on the floors. 4) Hot water runs out fast especially if multiple people are showering at the same time.
  
  Overall if you're looking for a place on the south side of the island, Pili Mai is a great stay!

  The pictures say it all! This condo is absolutely stunning. Has a beach vibe to it and all the supplies you need, blender, coffee maker, bakeware, silverware, flatware, you name it, it's there! It is super clean and the location couldn't be any better. Booking was easy, check in was easy and checking out was easy! Communication was excellent and they answered all of our questions quickly. The location was great. Right by Poipu Beach! The only regret you will have is not booking this condo! It is our new favorite. Thank you and look forward to staying there again.
