Hanalei Bay Resort Front Desk Fees: $50 guest check in fee, plus a reservation fee of $6.75, plus $25/day and $20/day/car + GET Tax. Please note this is a separate transaction with the guest and the front desk, subject to change and beyond our control.

Hanalei Bay Resort overlooks Hanalei Bay from a tropical, lush 28 acres in Princeville. Beautiful ocean and Bali Hai views are everywhere on this property. Beach access is provided down a long, fair grade, paved path, and the resort staff offer convenient golf cart rides to the beach below.

This spacious studio unit can accommodate up to 4 people making a great option for a family vacation at a reasonable rate! We provide some flatware, dishes, coffee maker, blender and mini refrigerator to help with some food preparation and the resort BBQ's can also be utilized. The tile floors throughout are great for island living and upkeep. The lanai space will add a sense of serenity to your vacation as you gaze at the amazing mountains and garden views! The resort amenities will add to the excitement with two pools, a hot tub, cascading waterfall features, multiple tennis courts, a fire pit sitting area to enjoy the nightly sunsets and direct beach access. What more could you ask for!

  Wonderful unit overlooking the HBR pool and a bit of Hanalei Bay. Couldn't have asked for a better 3 day escape from Honolulu! HBR staff were very friendly and helpful. Golf cart ride down to the beach provided by HBR was a huge win due to the hike back up to the resort. TIP YOUR DRIVER THEY ARE AWESOME! Lots of food and drink accommodations within walking distance and Hanalei is a 10 minute drive or less. Overall this was a wonderful experience! PS the gift bag in the room was very nice and thoughtful!

  The location is like living in a postcard, but the property management is the worst i ever had to deal with and from far !
  Would i go again to Kauai, for sure yes, would i go again to Hanalei Bay resort, for sure NOT !
  I also contacted VRBO during our stay, I’m still waiting for their response, now that it’s too late to solve the numerous problems !!!

  I absolutely loved staying here! Came for a week with my sister for my 41st birthday. Spacious, comfortable beds, and the most beautiful views I've ever seen. Seriously looks like a painting out your window. Unit felt private and peaceful. Was very clean when we checked in. This property is gorgeous. Very kind staff, tropical lobby, and amazing on-site restaurant with delicious food and live music. We appreciated the provided Tommy Bahama beach chairs and used them every day. I cannot wait to come again!

  You can't find a more Hawaiian paradise place to stay than Hanalei Bay Resort. The views are stunning and the grounds so lush/gorgeous. The free form pool fits perfectly with the surroundings and the hot tub feature is nestled in against a rock wall with a light waterfall flowing into the natural stone hot tub. The staff couldn't be any more helpful and friendly. Beautiful beach where parts of the movie South Pacific was filmed. The only place to stay in Princeville, no question.

  Giving an over all review of a 4. The room was a 5 because the listing was exactly as it said. My minor issue was with the resort, not our specific condo. 2 of the main reasons we booked the facility was for the pool and hot tub. The pool was so cold I couldn’t get into it, and the hot tub was out 9/11 days of our stay :/ so that was super sad. But overall, the resort was beautiful!!! And in a great location

  Beautiful property and perfect spot for additional room for a large group. It is a tiny room, but priced as such, so no complaints. Recommend cleaning crew check that all items from previous guests are removed. We found a few undergarments upon check in.

  We had a lovely stay. I would rate it 4/5. The room was very but there was a little room for improvement. It was stocked w silverware, cups and plates but there was no microwave. Small inconvenience really I would stay here again. The bathroom had a smell of old wet towels, i think this would be fixed by changing the shower curtain. We loved sitting on the veranda w coffee and walking around. There is a restaurant/bar that was good, but you’re not allowed to take your alcoholic beverage w you to walk around the grounds. You are however allowed to bring your own beverage from your room. Another small inconvenience was having to keep your pool towel with you. When you need a new one you turn in the old one, not really a big deal but a little annoying. The pool is beautiful and sonare the grounds. To get to the “beach” you go down a steep path. It’s a rather long distance so you can call for a ride down and up on a golf cart which is nice. It’s not a beach where you really would lay around but we didn’t come to lay around on the beach. We did hike down a trail that was by the beach and that was nice. It is a spectacular view of Hanalei Bay, we loved it.

  The location was great for exploring the Northshore. The beds were very comfortable. The shower/toilet portion of the bathroom needs new lighting...very dark. Overall the room met expectations. The resort property is very nice but the onsite restaurant is too small/staff is not large enough to support the resort size.

  Room was nice with a gorgeous view. Was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. It turns out the room we were in was privately owned. Different owners had different policies on room cleaning, towels and toilet paper. The front desk was not really aware of the differences. Once we contacted the management company we were able to get every thing straightened out.
