  Very nice place overall: location, comfort, close to southern beaches. Downsides: Mice problem in kitchen area - we saw one ignoring the industrial-sized trap beside the refrigerator and scamper across the kitchen floor one evening. Eek! There were a few cockroaches on the kitchen island countertop when we arrived, but no more after we dispatched those.

  We had a great experience staying at Pili Mai Condo 5K in Poipu. The condo is beautiful, roomy, quiet and very well equipped. We were 6 adults and 2 children and we had plenty of space. Kristen was very quick to respond to any questions or needs that we had.

  We were very happy when we entered the condo. Housekeeping was still at work as previous renters left quite a mess. Condo is spacious, beautiful kitchen. Then we opened the curtain to the lanai. We were very disappointed as it looked nothing like the pictures. View is of a black construction fence maybe 10' tall. Construction starts at 8AM and continues all day. The cushions are basically flat so there is nowhere comfortable to sit. Various spills on the floor made it even less appealing. I know construction issues are not their fault, but what a disappointment on vacation. The living room furniture was less than comfortable. Most comfortable chairs are around the kitchen table. We had an issue that our request to make up the twin beds to a king was overlooked, however that was taken care of pleasantly and quickly with just a phone call. Many grills throughout the property are very well maintained as are the grounds and amenities. I would stay here again but perhaps another unit away from the construction area--they are building condos so this will probably be an issue for some time. Management company was very nice to deal with. All in all though we had a wonderful time and love Poipu!

  We enjoyed staying at the Pili Mai Condo. We did have children age 4 climb on the dresser in the twin beds bedroom. They were trapped under the dresser. I injured my back trying to lift the dresser. You might want to bolt the dresser to the floor.

  Great place . Beautiful. Very comfortable and clean. Nice location...of course you need a car ( well, maybe not so much if you want to walk around to the beach and Koloa ). Great condo and condo complex. Very quiet, except for the chickens, and private. Nice pool and exercise room. Outdoor grills and eating areas everywhere. The unit was well equipped and comfortable with a nice kitchen and good bedrooms and baths. Would definitely stay again.

  Great home away from home for our family vacation! We enjoyed the comfy beds after our action packed days, and everyone having their own bathrooms made getting ready for the day very simple! The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed to cook our meals(not spices, but there was salt and pepper), and the patio for morning coffee and evening night caps was awesome! The supplied beach chairs and cooler was great for our days on the beach and exploring the island! Great place!

  This is the second time we have stayed at Pili Mai and we love this location! The condo was beautiful and very well equipped. The pool and hot tub were great! Clean and well taken care of. The only small complaint I have is not being able to get into the workout room until the pool opened. We like to get up early and get a work out in before we start the day. Other than that, great place to stay and will most likely always book at Pili Mai while in Kauai!

  The home was very nice. Location is good. Beds was too soft- very uncomfortable. The bed topper needs to come off. Bring your own coffee and tea. It would be nice if the kitchen have condiments. It only have salt and pepper. We left vegetable oils, honey and ground coffee for those after us can use them.

  It was spectacular, very relaxing and accommodating. All the ‘home’ were included and perfectly rationed for our stay (9 days)! We needed to extend our stay due to our late flight departure and were accommodated accordingly. Everything was clean and spotless, except for the bedroom with the two single beds. There was trash underneath one of the beds. Our arrival time was 3:48 PM with a 4PM scheduled check in time. As we arrived early, housekeeping was still in the condo. Maybe they didn’t have time to complete their chores?? They made me feel very unwelcome as they came out one by one and the woman (there 2 men and a woman) gave me such a hateful glance as she got into her car. But of course as we entered the condo, all ill feeling disappeared as it was very beautiful! In my opinion, I’ve rated this stay as an A+++ fantastic!!

  This condo is in the perfect location. I was hesitant to book originally because it’s not oceanfront but upon our arrival I was pleasantly surprised to see the ocean peaking out from the front door balcony. The property is quiet and serene and within short distance of food and beaches. The pool is just a few steps away and a relaxing way to end a busy day at the beach. The condo itself was spacious and well equipped. We used the provided beach chairs and boogie boards daily, though the boogie boards are in need of replacing.
  
  The housekeeping could use some improvement. Upon our arrival the stove was covered in grease splatters and the microwave pretty gross as well. The TV had finger prints and smears as noted by previous renters. I contacted the rental company, who was quick to respond and sent a housekeeper the next morning. It wasn’t perfect but it was better. One other thing to note is the room with the 2 twin beds could use a fresh coat of paint as well as a wipe down of the walls in the common areas. There are black smudges on the walls throughout- I suspect dirty tiny hands and feet. Couches might be close to needing replaced as well. It’s definitely well used and not “new” as described but overall we still enjoyed our stay.

  The only thing need to improve is the cleanliness. When we arrived the floor was dirty and sandy and there were hand prints in the TV.

  This condo was super spacious and had all the amenities, from the beach chairs and boogie boards to the Instapot and tea kettle. The BBQs and pool are right across from this building so it was super convenient to cook dinner while the kids played in the pool.   Thia was an awesome place to stay. We were a group of three couples celebrating our recent retirements. The place was immaculately clean and cared for. This is a three bedroom, three bath second floor apartment. The appliances are new. The lanai on the back was shaded all day and we found ourselves out there in the mornings and evening visiting over coffee and drinks. The neighborhood is quiet, and the pool/hot tub were a great treat at the end of the day. We were there in early February and the weather was awesome and the whale sightings plentiful. Soft sand beaches were close and inviting. My rating, 10/10.

  This was wonderful, exactly what the pictures looked like! The location was great, so close to everything we had scheduled and wanted to do, including the beach!! The unit was very well equipped with everything we needed and wanted, especially the kitchen as we ate in quite a bit. The pool and gym were very close to the unit and were used quite often. Everything was spacious and plenty of room for 6 adults! The only drawback was the size of the bed in the 3rd bedroom as we would have preferred another king bed but we knew this in advance.
